This is another good initiative coming from the GODWIN EMEFIELE led Central Bank of Nigeria, For the purpose of elaboration, explanation and analysis to the populace, thus the theme ‘’3Dimensional Appraisal’’.

But first, What is Loanable Funds?

Loanable funds is the sum total of all the money people and entities in an economy have decided to save and lend out to borrowers as an investment rather than use for personal consumption. … One way to make an investment is to lend money to borrowers at a rate of interest.

Loanable Funds can also be referred to total banks’ customer deposits minus liquidity ratio, reserve ratio and any other deductions as may be directed by the Central Bank. This is the fund available for granting of loans.
